Mercedes-Benz has launched a new advertising campaign produced by famous fashion photographer Nick Knight and fashion designer Gareth Pugh. There is no reason to talk about Mercedes-Benz in this blog if only they didn’t develop their fashion division with so much enthusiasm. Mercedes-Benz always wanted to be associated with fashion. The brand is now active in international fashion events around the globe. In addition to the branding of Fashion Weeks in Berlin and New York, they are also the title sponsor of Fashion Weeks in Miami and Mexico City as well as the Fashion Festival in Brisbane. In January 2009  the Stuttgart-based automaker annonced German model Julia Stegner as an official face of their fashion division.

“With Julia Stegner as brand ambassador, we have given our long-term, international fashion activities a fascinating and world-famous face,” says Anders Sundt Jensen, Vice President Brand Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars.
Right before Berlin Fashion Week 2009 Michelangelo di Battista had shooted Julia posing in high-fashion outfit by Anne Valerie Hush in front of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 CGI Grand Edition. “The idea was to pick up the red carpet situation at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks and thus create a strong connection between fashion and the vehicle’s elegance,” explained Michelangelo di Battista.
One year later, to promote their newest futuristic SLS AMG Mercedes-Benz hired Nick Knight and Gareth Pugh. It’s hard to recall somebody trendier than this couple for the moment.

Really fashionable campaign as compared with the previous one, so I’m looking forward for the next year, it will be hard to maintain this level.
